The risk of violent behavior is a form of angry response from an individual’s ineffective coping mechanism that endangers themselves, others, and the surrounding environment. This condition needs to be addressed so that individuals can achive a good level of mental health. One of the non-pharmacological managements that can be provided to patients at risk of violent behavior is psycho-religious therapy: zikir. Psychoreligious therapy: dhikr can help individuals control and eliminate feelings of irritability or anger because psychoreligious therapy: dhikr can provide tranquility, peace of mind, and positive thinking. The aim of this final scientific paper is to provide an overview of the application of psychoreligious therapy: dhikr in anger management in psychiatric nursing care for patients at risk of violent behavior. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach involving three patients at risk of violent behavior. The results showed that the three managed patients experienced a decrease in signs and symptoms of violent behavior risk from a score of 6 to a score of 2 after receiving psychoreligious therapy: dhikr for 5 days. Psychoreligious therapy through dhikr can influence brain function by activating the parasympathetic nervous system and increasing endorphin hormones, which help individuals achieve relaxation and inner peace. Psychoreligious therapy: this dhikr is significant in reducing the signs and symptoms of the risk of violent behavior, this psychoreligious therapy: dhikr can be considered as one of the therapies that can be provided to patients at risk of violent behavior.
