HUBUNGAN SELF AWARENESS DENGAN KEDISIPLINAN PADA SISWA KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-awareness and discipline among 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of low student discipline, such as tardiness, violations of dress code, and lack of responsibility in completing assignments. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample consisted of 80 students selected using simple random sampling from a total population of 394 students. The instruments used were self-awareness and discipline questionnaires, which had undergone validity and reliability testing. The results showed that the majority of students had moderate levels of self-awareness and discipline. Based on data analysis using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique, a significance value of 0.000 (0 < 0.05) and a correlation coefficient value of 0.395 were obtained. This indicates a positive and significant relationship between self-awareness and student discipline, although the correlation is low. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the self-awareness of students, the higher their level of discipline. Keywords: Self awareness, discipline, correlation, high school students
