ANALISA SISTEM RANTAI PASOK TANDAN BUAH SEGAR (TBS) DI PTPN IV REGIONAL VII UNIT SUNGAI LENGI KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN
This study aims to analyze the palm oil Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) supply chain system from upstream to downstream to identify problems, inefficiencies, and potential improvements in product flow. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through field observations, interviews with supply chain actors (farmers, collectors, and palm oil mills), and literatures studies. The results showed that there are several main obstacles in the FFB supply chain system, such as lack of coordination between actors, distribution delays due to inadequate infrastructure, and lack of price transparency. In addition, the FFB delivery process is still not standardized, resulting in a decrease in fruit quality and distribution efficiency. This study recommends improved coordination among stakeholders, utilization of information technology in distribution tracking, and improvement of the logistics system to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the FFB supply chain. The findings are expected to serve as a reference in managerial decision-making and policy formulation that supports more optimal management of the palm oil supply chain.
