PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KAILAN (BRASSICA OLERACEAE VAR. ALBOGLABRA) DI TANAH RAWA LEBAK YANG DIPUPUK TEH KOMPOS SEKAM PADI DAN NPK
The purpose of this study was to determine the response of growth and production of kailan plants to the provision of various doses of rice husk compost tea with and without a combination of NPK recommendations and to determine the best dose in increasing the growth and production of kailan plants in the land of lebak swamp origin. The research method used was a Randomized Group Design (RGD) consisting of 6 treatments, namely P0N0 (control without treatment), P0N3 (NPK recommendation), P1N3 (20 mL rice husk compost tea + NPK recommendation), P2N3 (40 mL rice husk compost tea + NPK recommendation), P1N3 (80 mL rice husk compost tea + NPK recommendation), P4N3 (100 mL rice husk compost tea + NPK recommendation). Each treatment was repeated 4 times, so there were 24 plants in total. The variables observed in this study were soil pH value, plant height, number of leaves, leaf greenness, root length, crown fresh weight, root fresh weight, crown dry weight, root dry weight, and root crown ratio. The results showed that the application of various doses of rice husk compost tea and NPK fertilizer gave a significant effect on root length and root crown ratio, and gave a very significant effect on plant height, leaf area, crown fresh weight, and leaf greenness level. The treatment of 80 mL rice husk compost tea + 100% NPK recommendations gave the best results in increasing the growth of kailan plants.
