EVALUASI PENATAAN LANSKAP BERDASARKAN KEBUTUHAN DAN ESTETIKA SERTA PERANCANGAN ULANG DESAIN PARKING LOT AREA TAMAN G-WALK CITRALAND MUSI II PALEMBANG
This research aims to evaluate the landscape arrangement in the parking area of G-Walk CitraLand Musi II Palembang, focusing on the analysis of parking space requirements and aesthetic aspects that affect user comfort and satisfaction. Parking area is one of the important elements in supporting the function of commercial areas, so the arrangement needs to pay attention to both functional and visual aspects. This research was carried out during the period November 2024 to January 2025, with the hope of producing a parking area design that not only meets the needs of vehicle capacity, but also provides added value in terms of aesthetics and environmental sustainability. The evaluation and design of this parking area aims to beautify the parking area, create a comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly environment for users, and support the overall function of the area. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The selection of this method is based on research objectives that emphasize more on understanding existing conditions, user perceptions, and exploring design ideas that are in accordance with the character of the site. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observations to obtain a real picture of the condition of the area and parking facilities, as well as interviews with the manager to explore information about problems, needs, and expectations of the ideal parking design. The stages of research activities include: (1) inventory of site elements (2) survey of parking space needs and user perceptions, (3) data processing and analysis, (4) assessment of the visual quality of the landscape including hardscape and softscape elements, (5) synthesizing the design concept, (6) design consultation with experts and managers, and (7) making the final design. The design was carried out with the support of digital applications, including SketchUp 2024 for 3D modeling, Enscape for rendering visualizations, Canva Design for preparing presentation materials, Garden Planner for vegetation planning, and CapCut for making animated videos. The final design is presented in the form of 2D drawings, 3D models, and animated videos so that it is easily understood by the management and users. The total budget required for design implementation is estimated at IDR 911.061.980. Keywords: Design, Parking Accumulation, Parking volume, Parking lot requirements
