PENGARUH UTANG LUAR NEGERI, FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT, PERSONAL REMITTANCES, DAN IMPOR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI NEGARA EMERGING MARKET
This study aims to analyse the effect of External Debt, Foreign Direct Investment, Personal Remittances, and Imports on Economic Growth in Emerging Market Countries namely Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam from 2013 to 2022. This study uses secondary data sourced from the world bank with the Common Effect Model (CEM) panel data regression method. The results of this study indicate that external debt, foreign direct investment, personal remittances, and imports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in 6 emerging market countries. Based on the findings, it is recommended that emerging market governments manage external debt effectively, strengthen the investment climate to maximise FDI, encourage productive use of remittances through the formal financial system and support MSMEs, and direct imports to capital goods and technology while controlling imports of consumer goods.
