EVALUASI PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KELOMPOK AKSESI T3 DAN TR3 PADA BC2F3 HASIL PERSILANGAN PADI VARIETAS INPAGO 5 DENGAN INPARA 8
Increasing rice productivity in the non tidal swamp can be carried out by planting superior varieties that have high quality and quantity of yield. For this reason, superior varieties are created through plant breeding. This study was aimed to evaluate and obtain the accessions of T3 and TR3 in BC2F3 resulted from the crossing of Inpago 5 and Inpara 8 rice varieties that have better growth and production to be used as candidates for new superior variety. The research was conducted on the non tidal swamp in Ibul Besar II Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra from June to December 2023. Randomized Block Design with 3 replications was used to evaluate the growth and production of T3 and TR3 accssions as well as Inpago 5 and Inpara 8 varieties. The data obtained were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method, continued with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) Test at the 5% level to see differences between accessions and varieties. The results showed a good response on the growth and production of accession groups of T3 and TR3 in BC2F3 based on parameters of plant height, tillers number, productive tillers number, flowering age, harvesting age, panicle length, grains number per panicle, grain weight per panicle, filled grains number per panicle, percentage of filled grains, grain weight per clump, and weight of 100 grains.
