The utilization of peat swamp land in the cultivation of vegetables, especially Brazilian spinach plants is still not optimal, efforts that can be done is through the provision of biochar and banana stem compost. This study aims to study the response and get the best dose combination and to determine the feasibility of the Brazilian spinach business. This study uses a complete factorial random design method consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose of biochar B1 ₌ 5 tons ha-1, B2 ₌ 10 tons ha-1, B3 ₌ 15 tons ha-1 and the second factor is the dose of compost K1 ₌ 10 tons ha-1, K2 ₌ 20 ton ha-1, K3 ₌ 30 tons ha-1, K4 ₌ 40 tons ha-1. There are 12 combinations of treatments and repeated 4 times until there are 48 plants. The results showed that the application of various doses of banana stem biochar (B) only gave a real effect on the variable number of Leaves 4 MST. While the application of various doses of banana stem compost (K) showed a very real effect on several variables including plant height 3 and 4 MST, the number of leaves 1, 2, 3 and 4 MST and fresh root weight. The combination dose of biochar 15 tons of ha-1 and compost 40 tons of ha-1 is the best combination treatment and provides the greatest benefit. Brazil spinach production business in peat soil by giving biochar and banana stem compost provides benefits and deserves to be developed.
