This research is research and development using a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) which aims to develop a valid and practical Case Method-based Advanced CAD/CAM textbook . The research was carried out in the odd semester of 2024 at the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, with the research subjects being active students of Mechanical Engineering Education who have taken Advanced CAD/CAM courses. The data collection technique uses questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the validation by material experts obtained an average of 4.29 (very valid) and media experts 4.56 (very valid), so that this textbook is valid from the material and media aspects. The practicality assessment by 3 students showed an average of 4.44 in the One to one stage, 9 students in the small group stage with an average score of 4.48 and 20 students in the Field test stage with an average score of 4.33 which were all included in the very practical category. Thus, the Advanced CAD/CAM Textbook based on the Case Method developed can be categorized as valid and practical to use. Keywords : Textbooks; CAD/CAM; Case Method; Development; Validation
