PENAMBAHAN MOL BONGGOL PISANG DALAM SILASE RUMPUT BENTO TERHADAP KECERNAAN BAHAN KERING, BAHAN ORGANIK DAN pH RUMEN SECARA IN VITRO
Aquatic forage is very important in supporting animal feed needs but the content in aquatic forage, especially dry matter and high organic matter, makes swamp forage unable to maximize its utilization, therefore processing efforts are made using silage technology to increase the digestibility of dry matter and organic matter in the grass. This study aims to determine effect of adding Local Microorganism on pH, Dry Matter and Organic Matter Bento Grass In Vitro. The study was conducted in three stages: the first stage involved a 14 day of making local microorganism, second stages involved a 21 day fermentation of bento grass and third stage was analysis of the digestibility of Leersia hexandra silage using method for dry matter digestibility, organik matter digestibility analysis and pH. The research was carried out from September to November 2024 at the Nutrition and Animal Feed Laboratory, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Treatments consisted of P0 = 100% Bento grass, P1 = 100% Bento grass + 3% local microorganism banana pith, P2 = 100% Bento grass + 6% local microorganism banana pith and P3 = 100% Bento grass + 9% local microorganism banana pith. Parameters observed were dry matter digestibility, organik matter digestibility and rumen pH. The results showed that the treatment with the addition of banana pomace mole had a significant effect (P
