PENGARUH BEBERAPA KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) LIMBAH SAYURAN DAN DOSIS PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) DI PEMBIBITAN AWAL
This study aims to evaluate the effect of various concentrations of vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and doses of NPK fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings in pre nursery. This research was conducted at green house in department of Agricultural Cultivation, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, from August to November 2024. The research conducting by the Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with two factors. The first factor is the consentrations of vegetable waste LOF (P) consist of 0 ml LOF/L water (P0), 150 ml LOF/L water (P1), 300 ml LOF/L water (P2), 450 ml LOF/L water (P3). Second factor is the doses of NPK fertilizer (N) consist of NPK 0 g/polybag (N0), NPK 1,25 g/polybag (N1), NPK 2,5 g/polybag (N2), and NPK 3,75 g/polybag (N3). The data obtained were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method followed by the Least Significance Difference (LSD) test. Parameters observed included seedlings height, number of leaves, leaf area index, stem diameter, leaf greenness, shoot fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, shoot root ratio, and soil pH. The result showed that vegetable waste LOF and NPK fertilizer interaction significantly affects the seedlings height and leaf area index. The application of vegetable waste LOF with treatment P2 (300 ml LOF/L water) has the best effect on the growth of oil palm seedlings, while the application of NPK fertilizer with treatment N3 (3,75 g/polybag) is the best dose for the growth of oil palm seedlings. Keywords: Microorganism, Nursery, Oil Palm, Organic Fertilizer, Waste.
