DETERMINAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI 6 NEGARA ASEAN
Currently, the economic system is undergoing a fundamental transformation where economic growth has become the main focus of economic policy in many countries. This study aims to empirically prove the effect of trade openness (TO), foreign direct investment (FDI) and population on economic growth in six ASEAN countries during the period 2007-2021. The data used is secondary data from the World Bank with a quantitative approach. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear analysis on panel data with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method. The results showed that trade openness (TO) and foreign direct investment (FDI) had a positive and significant effect on economic growth in ASEAN countries. Meanwhile, population shows a negative and significant effect on economic growth. These findings illustrate the importance of external factors such as trade openness and foreign direct investment in spurring economic growth in the ASEAN region, while population growth tends to have an adverse impact. Keywords: Trade Openness (TO), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Population, Economic Growth
