Feed is the most crucial element in the livestock industry. High-quality feed will result in optimal production in the livestock industry, and vice versa. One of the most potential industrial wastes that can be used as a feed source is waste from soy waste production, namely soy waste. The high crude protein content in soy waste can accelerate spoilage. Therefore, processing technology is needed to ensure that its nutritional value remains unchanged before being used as feed material, which can be achieved by storing soy waste in the form of silage. This study aims to examine the effect of varying moisture reduction levels and the addition of rice bran on the changes in color and aroma of soy waste silage. This research was conducted from October to December 2024 at the Experimental Farm of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Department of Livestock Technology and Industry, and at the Nutrition and Animal Feed Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Department of Livestock Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The study was carried out with four treatments (soywaste (control), pressed soywaste, pressed soywaste + 6.9% rice bran, and pressed soywaste + 14.16% rice bran) and five replications. The observed variables were color and aroma. The data obtained were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. To determine the effect of treatments on the observed parameters and to compare the means of each treatment. SAS on Demand program was used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that the color and aroma of soy waste silage were significantly influenced by moisture reduction and the addition of rice bran, while color changes were not affected. This study concluded that the treatment of moisture reduction without the addition of rice bran yielded better scores for aroma and color, namely 3.49 and 3.84, indicating that the addition of the rice bran is unnecessary in the production of soy waste silage. Keywords : Aromatic, color, silage, soy waste
