DINAMIKA KEBERHASILAN PROGRAM BERTANI UNTUK NEGERI DI KECAMATAN GEKBRONG KABUPATEN CIANJUR PROVINSI JAWA BARAT DALAM PERPEKTIF PERSEPSI DAN PARTISIPASI
The Bertani Untuk Negeri program is a farmer empowerment initiative aimed at increasing agricultural productivity, implementing standard operating procedures, and improving farmers' welfare. This program was implemented in Gekbrong District, Cianjur Regency, involving farmers as the main participants. The success of the program highly depends on the active participation of farmers and their perception of its benefits and effectiveness.This study aims to analyze the influence of farmers' perceptions on their participation and its implications for program success. Specifically, this research examines:(1) The influence and significance of farmers' perceptions on their participation inthe BertaniUntuk Negeri program in Gekbrong District,, (2) The influence and significance of perceptions on the program's success, and, (3) The influence and significance of farmers' participation on the program's success.The research was conducted from February to June 2024. Data collection wascarried out through surveys using interviews and questionnaires with 104 sampled farmers out of a total population of 144. The study utilizes both primary and secondary data. A quantitative approach was applied using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The findings indicate that:(1) Farmers' perception has a positive and significant effect on participation, (2) Farmers' perception significantly affects the program’s success, and, (3) Participation has a greater and more significant influence on program success. Participation also acts as a partial mediator in therelationship between perception and program success. These findings highlight that active farmer involvementplays a crucial role in improving productivity, implementing standard operational procedures, and increasing their income. The study concludes that the success of an empowerment-based agricultural program highly depends on farmers' active participation and their positive perception of the program.
