PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KOMIK SEBAGAI HASIL ALIH WAHANA CERITA RAKYAT SEJARAH DANAU TELUK GELAM KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR MELALUI APLIKASI CANVA PADA KELAS X DI MAS DARUSSALAM LEMPUING OGAN KOMERING ILIR
This study aims to develop comic media as an adaptation of the folklore The History of Teluk Gelam Lake in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency through the Canva application for Grade X students at MAS Darussalam Lempuing, Ogan Komering Ilir. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). However, this study was conducted only up to the Develop stage, without proceeding to the Disseminate stage. The product was developed based on a needs analysis obtained through questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers. The analysis results indicate the necessity of Canva-based comic media as a learning tool. The design stage of the learning media began with scriptwriting, creating a flowchart, and developing a storyboard as the initial framework for the comic media. The development stage utilized the Canva application to produce comic media tailored to learning needs. Expert validation was conducted on material, media, and language aspects. Based on the feasibility test conducted by experts, the product was deemed highly feasible overall. In the material aspect, the feasibility percentage was 94.4%, categorized as highly feasible. The media aspect obtained 93.7%, also categorized as highly feasible, while the language aspect received 85.7%, categorized as highly feasible. Revisions were made according to the validators’ suggestions. Based on these results, Canva-based comic media is considered highly feasible for use as a learning medium.
