Sales delaying is an act of stabilizing agricultural commodity prices by not selling the commodity immediately after harvest (when prices are low) but instead storing it and selling it when the prices are considered stable. Farmers consider several factors in deciding whether to sell their harvest immediately or delay the sale. The objectives of this study are: (1) To identify the post-harvest sales delaying behavior of rice farmers in Karang Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. (2) To calculate the proportion of rice sales in Karang Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. (3) To analyze the income differences between farmers who delay sales and those who sell directly in Karang Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted from November 2024 until completion. The method used to collect data in this study was a survey method, while the sampling technique employed was purposive sampling. The sample size for this study consisted of 57 farmers, including 29 farmers who sold their harvest directly and 28 farmers who delayed sales.
