HARGA JUAL MINIMUM BOKAR YANG DAPAT MEMENUHI KESEJAHTERAAN BERDASARKAN PENDAPATAN PETANI KARET DI DESA LUBUK MUMPO KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM
Natural rubber is one of Indonesia's important plantation commodities and serves as a primary source of income for many farmers, particularly in Lubuk Mumpo Village, Gunung Megang District, Muara Enim Regency. However, fluctuations in international rubber prices have directly impacted farmers' incomes and overall welfare. This study aims to analyze the cost of production for processed rubber materials (Bokar), determine the minimum selling price based on production costs, rice prices, and farmers' consumption expenses, and assess the welfare level of rubber farmers in comparison to the Living Needs Standard (Kebutuhan Hidup Layak/KHL). The research employed a survey method with a simple random sampling technique involving 42 rubber farmers. The results indicate that the majority of farmers are unable to meet the KHL standard solely from rubber farming income, highlighting the importance of income diversification. By setting a minimum selling price that accounts for production costs and household consumption needs, it is expected that the welfare of rubber farmers can be improved. This study also recommends the need for supportive price policies and farmer empowerment programs to sustain their economic stability.
