This research is motivated by the low success rate in enhancing life balance to improve the welfare of the community on Pulau Kemaro. The purpose of this study is to understand, review, and analyze the management of the Water Hyacinth Innovation Program in enhancing the welfare of the community on Pulau Kemaro by PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The theory used in this research is the one proposed by George R. Terry, which focuses on management functions: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this research include interviews, documentation, and observation. The research results indicate that the management of the Water Hyacinth Innovation Program in enhancing the welfare of the community on Pulau Kemaro by PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang has been well executed. The innovation program of water hyacinth has provided an increase in income for the beneficiaries, although it has not yet reached its peak. Planning for the composting activities is currently halted, and its implementation is still limited to the PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (Pusri) environment. In terms of controlling, deviations were found among the beneficiaries who did not follow the production process of innovative eco-enzyme and compost products, and there is a lack of understanding among the community about market standards.
