This study aims to determine the empowerment efforts made by the government towards aluminum household equipment craftsmen in Tanjung Atap Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study consisted of five people, namely the village head, the head of the craftsmen, and three aluminum household equipment craftsmen in Tanjung Atap Village. The results of the study indicate that the empowerment efforts by the government use three community empowerment indicators. In the potential development indicator, craftsmen have received socialization from the Industry and Trade Service in improving skills in making aluminum household equipment crafts, as well as training from the Provincial Government and the Industry and Trade Service related to casting techniques, forming, finishing, and recycling raw materials. In the business strengthening indicator, craftsmen receive assistance in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE) and access to capital through a savings and loan system managed by the Village Government. In the business protection indicator, craftsmen receive support in marketing and promotion through annual exhibitions organized by the Ogan Ilir Regency Government, events in the village, and promotions on social media facilitated by the Industry and Trade Service.
