This research aims to understand family empowerment through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in increasing family income, particularly for kemplang business operators in Tanjung Agas Village, Ogan Ilir Regency.The subjects of the research consist of kemplang business owners, employee members, and the Tanjung Agas village government.The focus of the research uses 3 indicators, namely family empowerment, increased family income, and support and obstacles.The research method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation.The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The research results show that MSMEs have a positive impact on the overall family economy.The indicator of family empowerment through MSMEs is seen from the aspect of involvement, with data showing that family members, including fathers, mothers, children, and even neighbors, are actively involved in the operations of MSMEs.In the aspect of education and training, there are constraints of limited time and cost.Meanwhile, in terms of participation in decision-making, decisions in SMEs are made collectively by the members of the SMEs.In terms of economic independence, MSMEs have a significant contribution both as a primary source and as an additional source.As for the income improvement indicator, data shows that MSME actors experience more stable income growth.Meanwhile, the indicator of support from the Village Government is an active role in encouraging the development of MSMEs through an easy and quick licensing system.The obstacle faced by the kempang business SMEs in Tanjung Agas Village is the increase in raw material prices.
