UPAYA SEKOLAH DALAM MENCEGAH BULLYING ANTAR PESERTA DIDIK DI SMPN 20 PALEMBANG
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana upaya sekolah dalam mencegah bullying antar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 20 Palembang. Bullying merupakan penyimpangan nilai moral yang dapat merugikan korbannya. perilaku bullying di sekolah berdampak negatif pada perkembangan peserta didik sehingga perlu sekali upaya dalam pencegahan bullying di sekolah. Penlitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dan teknik purposive sampling. Informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, wali kelas, tim pencegahan bullying, serta peserta didik sebagai korban dan pelaku, dengan member check dari saksi bullying serta merupakan peserta didik dalam kebijakan sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMP Negeri 20 Palembang telah menerapkan kebijakan anti-bullying melalui aturan tertulis, sistem pelaporan yang mudah diakses dan didukung dengan interaksi yang baik antara guru dan peserta didik, serta sosialisasi dan penyuluhan. Implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) juga membantu membentuk karakter peserta didik agar lebih menghargai dan menghormati satu sama lain. Dari lima indikator yang dianalisis, kebijakan sekolah yang komprehensif dan sistem pelaporan yang jelas menjadi strategi paling efektif, didukung oleh interaksi positif antara guru dan peserta didik. Secara keseluruhan, upaya pencegahan bullying di sekolah berjalan baik, meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan kesadaran terhadap bullying verbal. Kata Kunci: Bullying; pencegahan; kebijakan; lingkungan_sekolah. ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how school efforts are in preventing bullying between students at SMP Negeri 20 Palembang. Bullying is a deviation of moral values that can harm the victim. Bullying behavior in schools has a negative impact on the development of students so it takes a lot of effort to prevent bullying at school. This research uses a qualitative approach of case studies and purposive sampling techniques. The informants consist of the principal, vice principal for student affairs, homeroom teachers, the bullying prevention team, and students as victims and perpetrators, with member checks from bullying witnesses and are students in school policies. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that SMP Negeri 20 Palembang has implemented an anti-bullying policy through written rules, an easily accessible reporting system supported by good interaction between teachers and students, as well as socialization and counseling. The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) also helps shape the character of students to appreciate and respect each other more. Of the five indicators analyzed, comprehensive school policies and a clear reporting system are the most effective strategies, supported by positive interactions between teachers and students. Overall, bullying prevention efforts in schools are going well, although there is still a need to increase awareness of verbal bullying. Keywords: Bullying; prevention; policy; school_environment.
