This study aims to determine the ability of household management by young working mothers in Tanah Mas Village, Banyuasin Regency. This study used a Qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 6 subjects with indicators that they were still in the productive age range of 25-35 years who had at least 1 child or more and who still had a husband with a marriage age of more than 5 years and worked in an agency or institution and the private sector. Based on the results of the study from 3 indicators, it can be concluded that the first indicator shows that young working mothers can still carry out their duties in household management activities well without making the work they have a barrier in carrying out their duties as a wife or a mother. The second indicator found that the division of roles in the household will run well if all members play roles in the household according to their respective duties and abilities. Then, the third or last indicator found that young mothers who decide to play a dual role can play their roles very well and fairly. Keywords : Management, household, dual role
