Government Public Relations (GPR) acts as a liaison between the government and its public. The public relations and cooperation team plays a complex role in implementing the 2024 LLDikti Region II Diktisaintek Public Relations Award (AHD) program in order to create a positive image of government institutions. This study aims to see how the evaluation of the role of Government Public Relations (GPR) LLDikti Region II in implementing the 2024 Diktisaintek Public Relations Award (AHD) program is carried out. This study used a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. This study uses the theory of the role of government public relations by F. Rachmadi. The results of this study showed that the LLDikti Region II public relations and cooperation team had carried out the role of government public relations by providing explanations through social media, official websites, magazines, collaborating with mass media, conducting live streaming, involving the participation of judges and resource persons from government public relations, public relations practitioners, academics, and journalists, and providing motivation. There are still shortcomings in the implementation of these roles such as lack of focus on monitoring, performance promotion, and image strengthening. It is necessary to increase the role played by the public relations team and cooperation in order to provide maximum services in the field of communication and information to the community.
