This study aims to analyze the causality relationship between education, unemployment, economic growth and poverty in Java Island province. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of panel from 6 provinces in Java Island during the period 2012 - 2021 sourced from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The method in this study used quantitative approach by applying PVAR analysis and Granger's Causality model. The results showed that level of education, unemployment, and economic growth each have a one-way casual relationship with the poverty level in Java Island province for the period 2012 - 2021. The implications of the research results can contribute to the field of economics, especially regional economic development and can increase understanding of the specific factors that influence poverty levels on the Island of Java.
