PENGARUH TERAPI MEWARNAI POLA MANDALA TERHADAP TINGKAT STRES AKADEMIK MAHASISWA S1 BAGIAN KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Academic stress is a major problem among students around the world, including Indonesia, which is caused by various factors. The negative impacts caused by academic stress are considerable such as worsening a student’s mental health, performance, and academic achievement. Mandala coloring therapy may support the process of distraction, making it excellent for calming stress, boredom, and anxiety.. This study aims to determine the effect of mandala coloring therapy on the academic stress level of undergraduate students of the Nursing Section of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University. This research is a simple experimental quantitative research with non-randomized pretest posttest technique with control group design. The number of samples in this study were 30 students consisting of 15 intervention groups and 15 control groups selected using non-probability sampling methods with purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used in this study is the Student-life Stress Inventory questionnaire. Statistical analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and Mann Whitney. The results showed that the difference in posttest academic stress scores for intervention and control group students was 0.000
