The study investigates the developments in conventional bank credit and fintech lending in the money supply in emerging market countries such as Indonesia, China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Malaysia, Colombia, South Korea, and South Africa using the panel data regression method with Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The Secondary data used in this study were obtained from publications, reports, and statistics provided by the World Bank and Statista. This research uses annual data for the period 2017-2021. The research results show that domestic banking credit distribution and fintech lending positively and significantly affect the money supply. Domestic banking credit and fintech lending distribution have increased the money supply in emerging market countries. This research has implications for the need for government policy, especially in countries with unstable fintech sectors, to be able to adopt strict monetary policies in controlling credit distribution by banks and fintech companies, especially if there is an increase in money supply.
