PT Semen Baturaja Tbk. is a company with industrial commodities in the construction sector. The raw materials for making cement are limestone and clay. Limestone in this area is mined using the surface mining method with a quarry mine system. Limestone is a fairly hard sediment, therefore limestone scattering activities are carried out using drilling and blasting methods. The location of the blasting is close to residential areas, making ground vibration one of the impacts of blasting that needs to be taken into account. PT. Semen Baturaja Tbk sets the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) threshold value of 2 mm/s – 5 mm/s. However, the vibration value still disturbs the comfort of residents. Therefore, the researchers took the standard maximum value as a reference for the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) value, namely 2 mm/s. These conditions have not been met. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the weight of powder charge on the influence of the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) value to fulfill these requirements. Observation results of ground vibration measurements for the powder column per delay time of 18.181kg to 22.945kg produced Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) values of 1.701 to 3.297. This proves that there are still Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) values that are not as desired. Based on the recommended value for powder column per delay time for a distance of 300m for a PPV value of 2mm/s, 2.5 mm/s. and 3 mm/s are 8.24kg, 12.88kg, and 18.54kg. Distance 400m for PPV values 2mm/s, 2.5 mm/s. and 3 mm/s are 15.42kg, 24.10kg, and 34.71kg. Distance 500 m for PPV values 2mm/s, 2.5 mm/s. and 3 mm/s are 24.93kg, 38.96kg, and 56.11kg. Based on the influence of the relationship between the powder column per delay time on the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) value, the regression value was 0.7187, which shows a strong relationship and also based on the influence of the relationship between distance and the powder column per delay time, the regression value was 0.7708, this shows the level strong relationship and shows that the smaller or closer the distance, the smaller the powder column per delay time required.
