GAMBARAN WORK ENGAGEMENT PADA DOSEN DI INDONESIA

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of Work Engagement in lecturers in Indonesia. The population of this study were lecturers in Indonesia. The research sample was 126 people and for the trial as many as 51 people. The sampling technique was carried out using nonprobability sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study is a work engagement scale made by the researcher himself in the form of a Likert scale. The results showed that the work engagement variable in lecturers in Indonesia was in the low category, as many as 64 lecturers with a percentage (50,8%). Work Engagement in lecturers based on gender with a significance value of 0.011 (P < 0.05), based on the last education significance value of 0.660 (P> 0.05), based on domicile significance value of 0.235 (P> 0.05), and based on functional position significance value of 0.544 (P> 0.05). Researchers found differences based on Gender, namely male and female lecturers.
