KANDUNGAN FRAKSI SERAT DAN PROTEIN KASAR SILASE AMPAS TAHU DENGAN PENGURANGAN KADAR AIR DAN PENAMBAHAN DEDAK HALUS
The availability of feedstuffs is a key factor supporting ruminant livestock production. One of the efforts to fulfill the availability of feed can be done with alternative animal feed ingredients. One of them is agricultural waste, namely soy waste, which has a high enough water content (>80%). Therefore, the way to overcome soy waste's low dry matter content is to store the tofu dregs in silage. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of reducing water content and adding fine rice bran to the content of neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), and crude protein (CP) of the soy waste silage. This research was conducted from October to December 2024 in the Experimental Animal Laboratory and Animal Nutrition and Feed Laboratory, Department of Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments with 5 replicates. The treatments consisted of P1 (soy waste), P2 (pressed soy waste), P3 (pressed soy waste + 6.9% rice bran), and P4 (pressed soy waste + 14.16% rice bran). The parameters observed were NDF, ADF, and CP content. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued by Duncan's test. The results showed that the treatment had a significant effect (P
