EVALUASI PROGRAM SEHAT SEJAHTERA MELALUI INOVASI PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI DAN LITERASI DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT PULAU KEMARO
Poverty remains a significant issue in South Sumatra, particularly in Kemaro Island, where limited access to clean water, education, and economic opportunities affects community welfare. To address these challenges, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang implemented the Sehat dan Sejahtera (SESERA) program, focusing on competency and literacy enhancement as part of community empowerment efforts. However, the effectiveness of the program needs to be evaluated to ensure its sustainability and impact. This study aims to evaluate the SESERA program using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) to assess its effectiveness in improving the welfare of the Kemaro Island community. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather relevant data. The findings based on the CIPP evaluation model reveal that: (1) Context: The SESERA program is highly relevant to addressing the socio-economic challenges of Kemaro Island, particularly in literacy, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability. (2) Input: The program is supported by sufficient financial resources, infrastructure, and community involvement. However, training and technical support need further improvement. (3) Process: While initiatives like the Reading Corner, Floating Farming, and Fish Cage System (Keramba Jaring Apung) have been implemented, the community's long-term engagement and program continuity remain a concern. (4) Product: The program has shown positive impacts on literacy improvement, economic opportunities, and environmental awareness, but market access for local products and financial sustainability still require enhancement. Overall, the SESERA program has contributed significantly to community empowerment, yet continuous improvements, government support, and community participation are crucial to ensuring its long-term success.
