Fiscal sustainability is a condition that interprets the realization of a healthy fiscal in a sustainable manner. One of the main indicators used to assess a country's fiscal sustainability is the debt-to-GDP ratio. This study aims to determine the condition of fiscal sustainability in Indonesia by looking at the factors that affect the debt-to-GDP ratio. The independent variables studied include the previous year's debt ratio, economic growth, inflation and interest rates using annual data for the period 2009-2023. The analysis method used is the Error Correction Model method to see the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable in the long term and short term. The results showed that in the long term, the debt-to-GDP ratio in Indonesia is significantly influenced by the previous year's debt ratio and economic growth. While in the short term, changes in the debt-to-GDP ratio are significantly influenced by changes in the previous year's debt ratio and changes in economic growth.
