Obesity is a global, complex, multifactorial and generally preventable disease. The global prevalence of obesity has doubled in the last 40 years regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or socioeconomic status. High knowledge and a positive attitude are one of the factors that influence obesity prevention. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using low-calorie diet discs on changes in knowledge and attitudes among staff at the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. The type of research used in this research is experimental research in the form of quasi expiration with a pretest-posttest control group design, namely experimental research carried out in two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The sample in this research is staff at the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. In this study, the data was not normally distributed, so the Wilcoxon rank test was used and continued with the Mann Whitney U Test. The results of the statistical analysis concluded that Ha was accepted, namely that there was a difference in the average knowledge and attitude scores before and after being given the intervention using disc and powerpoint media. And there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge and attitudes between the experimental group which was intervened using disc media and the control group which was intervened using powerpoint media. The suggestion in this research is that it is hoped that the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes can hold counseling regarding low-calorie diets regularly once a week by community nutritionists in the promotive and preventive field from local health centers in order to create healthier and more qualified staff.
