EFEKTIVITAS HIPNOSIS DALAM MENURUNKAN KECEMASAN PADA IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA TRIMESTER III
Pregnancy is a much-anticipated condition for every couple, often accompanied by physical and mental changes. In the final trimester, maternal anxiety can increase the risk of complications during childbirth. Excessive anxiety during pregnancy has been proven to negatively impact fetal development and maternal health. Research has demonstrated that hypnosis is an effective non-pharmacological method for reducing anxiety and tension in pregnant women. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate the effectiveness of hypnosis as an alternative approach to managing anxiety in pregnant women. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of hypnosis in lowering anxiety levels among third-trimester primigravida women who meet inclusion and exclusion criteria. A quasi-experimental method was employed, with 36 participants in both the experimental and control groups. T-test results indicated a Sig value of 0.000, lower than the significance level of p < 0.05, demonstrating a significant difference in mean post-test scores between the treatment and control groups. It is concluded that hypnosis has a significant impact on reducing anxiety levels compared to no hypnosis intervention. Recommendations for healthcare facilities include providing various alternative options for pregnant women to receive therapy in coping with psychological changes during the childbirth process.
