Global warming and natural resource depletion will worsen the goals of developing countries. Therefore, it requires a shift towards more sustainable practices to reduce the impact on a country. Sustainability in the construction sector leads to the transition of conventional buildings to sustainable and green buildings. Green building is an effort to increase the efficiency of buildings by considering natural resources and can increase the life cycle of buildings. One of the factors in the development of green building is the involvement of consultants in managing and utilizing their abilities effectively so as to support the success of the project implementation process and encourage the development of the consulting industry. The research analyzes the perspective of green building by consultants in Palembang City in their involvement to realize green building development, especially in determining resources on environmentally friendly materials, attributes, and factors in realizing green building development. This research uses quantitative methods with data acquisition through distributing questionnaires to consultants in Palembang City. The data analysis and processing were carried out using the help of Microsoft Excel and SPSS software. The results showed that the majority consultant agreed to be involved and provide support in realizing green building development.
