Immunization is one of the preventive efforts carried out by the government to prevent children from various diseases that can be prevented by immunization. However, in Palembang itself there are still mothers who do not complete basic immunizations for their children. There are several reasons why mothers do not take their children for immunization. The aim of this research is to explore mothers' perceptions of the complete basic immunization status of babies under two years old in Palembang City. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with a constructive approach, PAR and in-depth interviews. The number of informants in this research was 28 people, consisting of 12 main informants, 7 expert key informants, and 9 supporting informants. The research results show that some mothers are afraid to take their children for immunizations due to issues circulating on social media. There are still mother informants who are afraid to take their children for vaccinations because the halal status of the vaccine is still doubtful and there is no halal certificate for the vaccine. Most of the mother informants received support from their husbands or family to get their children immunized. All mothers have the perception that immunization is beneficial for children's health. The conclusion of this research is that mothers are still afraid to bring their children for immunization due to the halal status of the vaccine used. The suggestion of this research is that maternal informants are expected to review the truth of the halal status of vaccines based on the MUI fatwa or from experts in the field of religion. And the community health center is more aggressive in carrying out outreach and enlightenment to people who are still afraid to bring their children for immunizations
