ANALISIS MIKROSTRUKTUR LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE DENGAN VARIASI RASIO SEMEN DAN GLASS POWDER
Lightweight concrete is concrete whose specific gravity is lighter than normal concrete. Lightweight concrete has a density that ranges from 1,140 kg/m3 - 1,840 kg/m3. This research uses materials such as cement, foam agent and water in a ratio of 1:40, and glass powder which is used as a substitute for cement (binder) in this study. This study used glass powder variations of 20% and 30%, w/c 0.4, volume foam and slurry in a ratio of 0.35: 0.65. This research uses the curing method by immersing the test specimens for 28 days in a bucket filled with water. The test results on the GPC 1-1 sample with 20% GP percentage variation showed a specific gravity of 1565.3 kg/m3 and a compressive strength of 4.37 MPa. The test results on the GPC 2-1 sample with a 30% GP percentage variation showed a specific gravity of 1518.3 kg/m3 and a compressive strength of 5.47 MPa. XRD and SEM results on GPC 1-1 with 20% variation show an amorphous percentage of 95.79%, has many pores and reduced concrete density, on GPC 2-1 with 30% GP percentage variation shows an amorphous percentage of 96.72% and has small pores and increased concrete density. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the addition of GP percentage can have an effect on the specific gravity and compressive strength which can be seen by analyzing the microstructure of lightweight concrete.
