REPRESENTASI KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH DALAM IKLAN HYUNDAI IONIQ 5
The research entitled "Representation of Government Policy in Electric Vehicle Advertisements" discusses how government policy is represented in each text in an electric vehicle advertisement. The object used in this research is one of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 advertisements released by PT Arista Group. The reason for choosing this object is that this advertisement promotes products related to several government policies such as free odd-even for electric vehicles, free progressive tax, as well as special incentives for domestically assembled electric vehicles provided by the government. This research uses discourse analysis resulting from Teun A Van Dijk's thoughts and uses qualitative research methods with documentation data collection techniques and literature studies. The results of this research are that government policies can be represented by looking at the micro structure in the written text of the advertisement due to the macro structure or themes in this advertisement, some of which can highlight several government policies that can make it easier for users to drive the Hyundai Ioniq 5 due to several advantages offered by the electric car. The cognition and social context sections can also show the thoughts of the community and PT Arista Group as the distributor of products from the company PT Hyundai Motor Indonesia regarding the relationship between government policy regarding the use and marketing of the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
