This study aims to analyse the role of the tourism industry in South Lampung Regency, the central growth area and the spatial interaction relationship between the central growth area and the hinterland area. This research uses secondary data in the form of time series for the period 2018-2022. The analysis techniques used were Scalogram Analysis, Centrality Index, ArcGIS Analysis and Gravity Index. The results of this study indicate that there are two areas of growth centre determination as a result of the Scalogram and Centrality Index analysis in South Lampung Regency, namely Natar Regency and Kalianda Regency with hinterland areas that have the highest interaction with their respective growth centres are Jati Agung Regency and Penengahan Regency. Based on the results of mapping and spatial linkages, South Lampung Regency is the growth centre because the primary sector in the region has significant results, and Way Sulan Regency has a spatial relationship to economic growth between districts significantly in the secondary and tertiary sectors.
