In a means of transportation or fluid installation, there will definitely be the use of fittings, where these fittings will cause an obstacle to a flow. Resistance to the flow will cause a decrease in the energy of the fluid, this phenomenon is often also called energy loss (head loss). This is important to identify because it has an important role, namely to find out the amount of loss value that occurs in the flow. Head loss is an example of a problem that often occurs in transportation equipment and fluid installations. This study uses experimental methods and data retrieval analysis to obtain flow loss values, namely major head loss, minor head loss and total pipe head loss of 1/2 and 3/4, inches with variations in flow discharge and valve opening. This shows that the smaller the pipe diameter, the greater the head loss that occurs. Where the highest total head loss occurs in a 1/2 inch pipe with a value of 1.3 m, while the lowest total head loss occurs at 3/4 inch with a value of 0.186 m
