Death is something that is never separated from humans. In Chinese culture, the funeral ceremony is one of the obligatory ceremonies that must be carried out to honor the deceased. With the Planning and Design of a Funeral Home, Crematorium, and Columbarium Based on Chinese Culture in the city of Palembang, it is hoped that it can facilitate and simplify the Chinese descent community in Palembang to carry out funeral ceremonies. The design of this area refers to the community's needs related to funeral facility needs and considers zoning to facilitate user circulation and refers to the behavior of the Chinese Ummah in carrying out funeral ceremonies. The design of this area applies a one-stop service system so that users can fulfill their ritual needs within this area. Chinese architecture is also applied in this area to provide a more integrated spatial experience when users carry out funeral ceremonies. Waste generated in this area is also filtered first to avoid polluting the surrounding environment. With the design of this area, it is hoped that one of the Chinese Cultural heritages can continue to be carried out and not fade away due to the rapid globalization.
