PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL DAN PENDIDIKAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP MINAT BERWIRAUSAHA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN
This study aims to examine the effect of social media use on student entrepreneurial interest when mediated by entrepreneurship education. This study uses a type of quantitative research through the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 and SmartPLS 3 applications. The research population in this study were Sriwijaya University Mechanical Engineering Education students class of 2020 and 2021. The research sample selection technique is using simple random sampling with a total of 97 samples. Data processing techniques use descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and SEM PLS tests. The path coefficient test results show that the effect of Social Media Use on Entrepreneurial Interest is (0.24) showing a significant effect. The path coefficient test results show that the effect of Social Media Use on Entrepreneurial Interest is (0.57) showing a significant effect. The path coefficient test results show that the effect of Social Media Use mediated by Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Interest is (0.43) which shows a more significant effect than the direct effect of social media use on entrepreneurial interest.
