The ban on imports of used clothing can be considered as a form of protection for domestic textile business actors because it involves several economic and environmental considerations. By prohibiting the import of used clothing, the government can provide protection to domestic clothing producers. This action helps increase sales of domestic textile products, supports local employment, and encourages the growth of the domestic textile industry. The objective of this study is to reveal the impact of the policies and the forms of enforcement of the ban on importing used clothing in order to provide protection for domestic textile business actors. The method used in this study is normative study using statutory and conceptual approaches. The sources of legal materials used in this study consist of the primary legal material sources and the secondary legal material sources. The analysis of this study was carried out deductively. The results of the study show that the impact of the policy of banning the imports of used clothing on the domestic textile business actors is very detrimental. This is evident by the fact that the policy of banning imports of used clothing which is unable to protect domestic textile business actors and is carried out by many used clothing importers, illustrating the challenges that the domestic textile industry must face. The preventive form of law enforcement identifies potential risks or legal threats and takes action to prevent violations and conflicts through regulations and policies that can create a conducive business environment for the development of the domestic textile industry. The repressive law enforcement focuses on actions and sanctions for violations of the law that occur, including direct law enforcement against, rule violators, becoming a strong basis for ensuring compliance and justice.
