Background: Elderly people are individuals who are 60 years old who experience the aging process and changes in themselves. One of the changes that often occurs in the elderly is changes in the blood vessels which can lead to hypertension. The impact of uncontrolled hypertension can cause complications such as heart failure, stroke, kidney failure and others. One effort to control blood pressure in the elderly is to provide warm water foot soak therapy. Objective. To provide an overview of geriatric nursing care for the elderly with hypertension, and to provide information on warm water foot soak therapy to lower blood pressure in hypertension patients Method: The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach on 3 elderly people suffering from hypertension Results: This scientific work has been conducted on the three elderly people, the main nursing diagnosis was obtained, namely ineffective peripheral perfusion. Nursing interventions and implementations were carried out based on journal reviews, namely foot souk therapy with warm water the eval uation showed increased peripheral results and changes in blood pressure after foot soak therapy with warm water for 3 days. Conclusion: Foot soak therapy with warm water can dilate blood vessels so that blood flow becomes smooth which has an impact on lowering blood pressure. This foot soak therapy with warm water can be used as one of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be done independently to lower blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension.
