Peanut (Arachys hypogea L.) is one of the agricultural commodities that has the potential to be developed in Indonesia because it is a legume plant that has the second highest economic value after soybeans. To increase the growth and yield of peanut plants, by adding manure. This research aimed to find out the best types and doses of manure on the growth and yield of peanut plants and to see the growth of weed. This research was conducted in Palembang, South Sumatra from September 2022 to January 2023. The method used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (FRBD) which consisted of 2 factors, the first factor was the type of manure (P) which consisted of 3 levels, P1 = cow manure, P2 = chicken manure, P3 = goat manure. The second factor was the dose of manure (D), consisted of 3 levels, D1 = 10 tons ha-1 (1,2 kg plot-1), D2 = 15 tons ha-1 (1,8 kg plot-1), and D3 = 20 tons ha-1 (2,4 kg plot-1). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The results showed that the best treatment was chicken manure at a dose of 10 tons ha-1 (1,2 kg plot-1) (P2D1) which resulted the highest number and pod weight. The dominant weed on the land before treatment was Praxelis clematidea with an SDR 27,92% and the dominant weed after treatment was Mikania micrantha with an SDR of 23,59%.
