The study aims to find out the effectiveness of using Google Classroom and Whatsapp Group in Online Learning in Economics Subjects for Class XI IPS at SMAN 6 Banyuasin. The population in this research were students in class XI IPS at SMAN 6 Banyuasin. The sample in this study was taken using a random sampling technique so that a sample size of 103 students was obtained. The data collection technique used in this research is using questionnaires and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument using the product moment correlation formula and test the reliability using the Alpha Cronbach formula. The results of this research show that: 1) The effectiveness of using Google Classroom in online learning in economics subjects for class XI IPS at SMAN 6 Banyuasin reached a percentage of 66.89% in the "Quite Effective" category. 2) The effectiveness of using Whatsapp Group in online learning in economics subjects for class XI IPS at SMAN 6 Banyuasin obtained a percentage score of 70.99% in the "Effective" category. Based on the research results, it is hoped that students and teachers will pay more attention to signal strength, operational ease and features in applications used to support online learning activities.
