ANALISIS KONDISI FASILITAS SANITASI LINGKUNGAN DI PASAR PAGI KOTA PANGKALPINANG
Pagi Market in Pangkalpinang City is one of the largest traditional markets, always bustling with visitors, making environmental sanitation efforts essential. This study aims to analyze the condition of environmental sanitation facilities at Pagi Market in Pangkalpinang City. The research design is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, involving 12 individuals: 2 key informants (the head of the market management unit and a sanitation officer) and 10 general informants (traders and visitors). Data were analyzed using content analysis methods. The results showed that the sanitation facilities at Pasar Pagi Kota Pangkalpinang do not meet the standards of a healthy market as stipulated in Indonesia’s Ministry of Health Regulation Number 17 of 2020. Several deficiencies were identified, including the absence of regular water quality testing, inadequate conditions and availability of bathroom and toilet facilities, the lack of a temporary waste disposal site (TPS), insufficient wastewater drainage systems (SPAL), the unavailability of handwashing facilities, the presence of disease-carrying vectors and pests, and the absence of routine disinfection activities. Overall, the environmental sanitation facilities at Pagi Market in Pangkalpinang City have not met the standards of a healthy market.
