TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI DALAM NOVEL 24 JAM BERSAMA GASPAR KARYA SABDA ARMANDIO DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
This study aims to analyze the types and communicative functions of illocution speech in the novel "24 Hours with Gaspar" by Sabda Armandio and its implications for Indonesian language learning. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a pragmatic linguistic approach. The research data is in the form of dialogues between figures that contain assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative illocution speech acts. The results of the study show that there are five types of illocution speech in the novel, namely: Assertive, including stating, informing, boasting, complaining, and reporting. directives, including prohibiting, asking, advising, commanding, inviting, ordering, pleading, and suggesting. Expressive, including saying thank you, apologizing, blaming, complimenting, mocking, expressing anger, expressing gratitude, and refuting. Commissive, including swearing, promising, refusing, threatening, and offering. Declarative, including allowing, decideing, and naming. The implication of this research on Indonesian language learning is to provide insight in designing learning materials based on authentic contexts. This helps improve students' communicative competence by understanding the use of language in real-life situations. Analysis of illocution speech through literary texts helps students understand pragmatic meanings so that they can communicate effectively.
