KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA SEKRETARIAT DPRD PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
This research aims to analyze employee performance at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province using Mangkunegara's (2017) performance theory, which includes four dimensions: quality of work, quantity of work, reliability, and attitude. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that overall employee performance is reasonably good, although there is significant variation among individuals. The quality of work aspect shows alignment between theory and practice in the field, though work innovation still needs improvement. Delays in task completion indicate the need for improvements in time management. This research also indicates challenges in task and priority management, which affect the effectiveness of employee performance. These findings provide valuable insights for the development of human resource policies in a governmental environment. Therefore, it is recommended that there be continuous training programs to improve employee competence, the implementation of a reward system to encourage good performance, and increased supervision and regular evaluation to ensure that performance standards are met. With these measures, it is expected that employee performance can be more optimal and effective in fulfilling their job demands
