Music is a necessity that plays an important role in everyone's life. Music as one of the art that can be accepted and enjoyed by everyone from various circles around the world. Music is a combination of elements such as tone, melody, harmony, rhythm, structure and sound guality of timbre, articulation and dynamics. The music world knows no age, race, religion, territory or other boundaries. The city of Palembang is the Capital of South Sumatra province which has a population density of4,800 per km. The city of Palembang is a city that has a community with various hobbies and talents. The people of Palembang city both children, teenagers to adults have a lot of potential in playing music, appreciate music, ranging from individuals or groups. One of the problems, the city of Palembang does not yet have a High School of Music. High School Music acts as an activity in the accommodation of leaming activities, meetings, gatherings, seminars and so forth. In addition, inside the building of High School music there is an event space or gathering place for the large capacity flexible and integration community. Application of the function hierarchy order with Higher School Music as a Center for music education and venues, hobbies, talents and so on. The use of design with attractive and attractive shape, integrated inner space and outer space that create visual experience.
