This study aims to analyze the effect of the combination of vermicompost and SP 36 and the effect of each treatment on the P-available content in the soil as well as the growth and yield of sengon laut plants in the nursery phase. This research was conducted in the Greenhouse, Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University while soil analysis was conducted in the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology, and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research method used a Randomized Group Factorial Design (RAKF) consisting of two factors with each factor consisting of 3 levels and 5 replicates. The treatment factors used in this study were the K factor with K1 (10 tons ha-1 vermicompost), K2 (20 tons ha-1 vermicompost), and K3 (30 tons ha-1 vermicompost). And P factor with P1 (150 kg ha-1 SP-36), P2 (300 kg ha-1 SP-36), and P3 (450 kg ha-1 SP-36). The observed parameters include soil chemical parameters such as, pH, C-organic and P available content, as well as the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, number of petioles, root wet weight, crown wet weight, root dry weight and crown dry weight. The result show that giving various dosage levels of vermicompost gives results that have a real effect on all observation parameters. Giving various levels of SP-36 doses gives results that have a real effect on all observation parameters. P3 treatment (450 kg ha-1 SP-36) gave the best effect on all research parameters. In the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, crown wet weight, and crown dry weight, there is an interaction between the K factor and the P factor which affects the average value of these parameters. The combination of vermicompost and SP-36 gave results that significantly affected all observation parameters.
